Ampco non-sparking products are used in areas where explosive atmospheres can arise from flammable gases, vapors, mists or dusts. If enough of these are present this may, mixed with the ambient air (oxygen) and a source of ignition, cause an explosion. To avoid explosions there have been developed the non-sparking tools from Ampco. They are produced in high variety of alloys: Aluminum-Copper or Copper-Beryllium combination.
